Hanging out on the 16h floor of the Trump Tower, waiting for an actress for a publicity tour portrait, the views of the city are tremendous. Perfect sightlines down the Chicago River to Lake Michigan in one direction, and Wabash Ave and the Loop the other way.
The Trump was carefully designed with just these views in mind, and the line down Wabash is framed by it’s own window. Wabash is home to one of the sides of the CTA “L” trains, and using a tilt-shift lens, they look a bit like a model railroad set.
