frozen tundra

Finally got a chance to visit the hallowed frozen tundra of Lambeau Field for the first time, my 20th NFL stadium. It’s a great place to shoot, beautiful light in the afternoon (of course we had a night game), great fans who stand up and cheer the entire time like a college game, and a seating bowl that’s all one deck like a college stadium too.  The big advantage of that is that there aren’t multiple surfaces at the front of each deck to cover with advertising, so the backgrounds are a lot cleaner, too.

The Bears didn’t have a lot to play for, and although the defense put up a good effort, the offense went nowhere in a 10-3 loss. Now they get a weekend off to rest up for their first playoff game at home at Soldier Field.
